I come back home every day to a hero’s welcome.
The unbound joy, the slow and unsteady crawl towards me – falling and getting up but not losing focus, and the two bright eyes glowing in the expectation of a hug
The tiny hands touch my cheek. The four cute little teeth nibble on my shirt.
And the most soothing gibberish that anyone has ever heard
I feel blessed 🙂
