The collective weight gained by the participants after the sumptuous dinner at the Eliminate Poverty and Starvation event is approximately equal to the weight of the scavenging children behind the pantry, beaten to death by the police!

  1. 😦 ….true and sad….. 😦 😦 …I feel the same when I see people busy in construction of flyovers….the modernity and advancement of a country laid on empty stomachs of those hands….. paid daily wages…. 😦 😦 and I feel incompetent not being able to do anything about any of these issues …. so have almost stopped penning them 😦 😦

    • Incidentally, I have been watching a fly-over being constructed here for three months now. It’s a long one, but has been two-thirds complete already. I have seen at most 50 people working there – mostly operating some heavy equipment. I was thinking about how it’s done back home – hundreds of people working without any safety precautions!

      • Consider the laborers that built Taj Mahal, the symbol of ‘love’?

        • Yes – they fit this bill very well.

I’m sure there might have been some ‘aandolan’ against that, but it was duely suppressed. People forget. And now if someone says anything else (than “symbol of love”) about the Taj, s/he is branded as radical!!

          • People get a sticker for their cars, children get happy stickers at retail stores. If they make a sticker to identify radicals, this would be the easiest way of restricting debate and ideas that go against status quo?

  2. Man constructs skyscrapers, palaces, millions of homes that are impervious
to the elements and secrets of the earth and their armies to a place of authenticity
in todays materialistic world. There was absolutely no reason whatsoever for man
to rebel against God with all the blessings God has reserved for them.
It can be proved that the bible hebrew states that
God took him to heaven without the normal human experience of death.
