The calculation is very simple. This takes into account:
  1. Your reach (measured by number of followers and number of tweets)
  2. Your efforts (measured by number of people you follow and number of tweets)
The number of tweets can help measure both ‘reach’ and ‘effort’, but not in the exact same way. Also, the effect of the number of tweets should be more when you have just a few followers/followings than when you have a lot of them. When someone just begins to tweet, TRP should be cnsidered as increasing. But the rate of increase should get slower and eventually begin to reduce the TRP if no new follower is added, ie, if the effort of tweeting does not convert to an increase in the number of followers.
Also, the more followers you have, the less should be the effect of number of tweets on your TRP. A person with 10 followers will have a lot more variable TRP than a person with 1000 followers.
